The Mary Salmond Trust
The Trust offers grants of up to £500 to groups or individuals from the North East of Scotland. We aim to support the advancement of community development, by encouraging activities which have a public benefit. We are also keen to promote projects which focus on children and young people’s health and welfare, training and education, civic responsibility and volunteering.
Who we are
The Mary Salmond Trust was set up in 2007 by the former First Minister Alex Salmond in memory of his mother Mary Salmond.
Who we’ve helped
In the year to 31 March 2018 the Trustees met 3 times and approved 35 applications for funding support totalling £13,645.
