The next meeting of the Mary Salmond Trust will be held on Wednesday 23 March. The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 21 March.

During the year to 31 March 2021 the Trustees met twice and approved 14 applications for funding support totalling £6,409.

The amount of each grant was limited to a maximum of £500. Of these grants, 12 were madeto community organisations or charities and 2 were made to individuals.

Since the Trust was established in 2007, 413 grants amounting to £164,091 have been awarded, an average of £397 per grant.

Young people, schools, Scouts, Guides, Boys Brigade and community groups assisting young people and the community throughout the Trust’s area have been assisted to achieve their goals.
