The next meeting of the Mary Salmond Trust will be held on Tuesday 15 September. The closing date for receipt of applications is Saturday 12 September.

During the year to 31 March 2020 the Trustees met 3 times and approved 23 applications for funding support totalling £8,826.

The amount of each grant was limited to a maximum of £500. Of these grants, 18 were made

to community organisations or charities and 5 were made to individuals.

Since the Trust was established in 2007, 399 grants amounting to £157,682 have been awarded, an average of £395 per grant.

Young people, schools, Scouts, Guides, Boys Brigade and community groups assisting young people and the community throughout the Trust’s area have been assisted to achieve their goals.
